From South France to Italy (Post Dated 6/7/13)

Today we checked out of our bungalow and headed to the pool.  The more we went down the slides, the more creative we got.  Backwards 5 passenger trains, supermans with passengers on our backs, spinning out, arms linked, etc..  We love no supervision.

Our bungalow and our super sweet 6 speed diesel mini van.  I truly wish I could have this mini van

After having pizza at the campground restaurant we headed back to Monaco to visit a car museum that was closed last time we were there.  It had an amazing collection of cars and we all chose our favorites and got our pictures taken with them.

Then we left Monaco and headed to Italy.  That’s 3 countries in 1 day.  Four countries in four days.  We’ve been in 7 countries since this trip started because Funchal is considered Portugal and Gibraltar is considered UK.  It’s strange how all of the countries are so close but all so different.  As soon as we crossed the border into Italy all the signs immediately changed from French to Italian (thank goodness!  Something I can sort of read.) and the landscape and buildings changed pretty drastically.  We have been going through tunnels and over bridges literally nonstop since we entered Italy.  It’s very green and beautiful.  All of the hills are covered with dense trees.

The border of France and Italy. Around this bend the landscape changes quickly
